If you’ve been to copycat before, it’s worth a return visit to check out their new menu. A great selection of smaller shareable dishes as well as mains. Plus, the additions to their cocktail menu, the Swoop Swoop and the J.O.F. are exceptional. Really great food and drinks. I recommend the set menu when it’s an option. It took my out of my comfort zone with things I usually wouldn’t order but I never regretted it. Also, the cocktails are among some of the best I’ve had anywhere in Melbourne.

Wow. This place is beautiful and the food was spectacular. We went here on mothers day and loved all their dishes. The mushroom parfait was the highlight of which I would never have believed. It was smooth and creamy with a beautiful rich flavour. I would go back just for that. The steak was perfectly cooked and the marrow butter was perfect with the hassle back potato. Highly recommend the apple crostata too. Service was attentive and friendly.

We have had a wonderful night out at this fine venue. A few takeaways (no pun intended) from the evening. Staff: could not fault anyone. Exceptionally welcoming particularly as a Guide Dog was part of the group. Immediately they offered a better table for us so we could be more comfortable and the little Lab had plenty of safe stretch out space. Kudos Copycat. Service above and beyond. Table service was relaxed and our waiter was particularly helpful with menu suggestions that turned out to be exceptional options. The wine service was attentive, helpful and friendly. Top marks. As for the food: well, I could give it s sweeping first class statement and in fact I do. The salmon was enjoyed by two, the twice cooked chicken by one, and also the Beef Cheek Ragu with Papardelle Pasta. Clean plates all around identifies how much meals were enjoyed. All up a fine restaurant, and service they can be proud of. 10/10.

This was our first visit and it was fabulous, what a great find. Delicious cocktails and the best pork belly we've ever had. Thank you so much. Your staff were super attentive and friendly. We can't wait to come back. Thanks again.

My girlfriend and I had our 1 year anniversary dinner here and was absolutely incredible. We shared the croquettes as a starter, then had the scotch fillet and chicken for our mains. All the food was excellent and cooked perfectly. Our server Adele was excellent at looking after us. Had a wonderful evening and will definitely be back in the future

It's just about perfect, and Copycat should be copied themselves by other neighbourhood venues (Balaclava/St Kilda needs a Copycat please). The place looks stunning, from the décor to the pendents to the quirky “copied” staff tees; it's a treat for design enthusiasts and people who notice detail. The happy hour was buzzing – who could resist a two-for-one deal on all drinks in this economy. I didn't try the food, but a lot of date nights were. A quick online search told me that the owners are a family with a knack for creating a great customer experience, and it definitely shows. I'll be back for sure.

Absolutely love this restaurant. The menu has all my fave things. The scallops are a must. Totally on point. The kingfish has perfect flavours. The steak tartare is excellent. I love that it doesn't have the raw egg , but the grated egg instead. The chips are great. The calamari was nice but my preference was the other three entrees. The staff are exceptional. Our waitress I think her name was laon was fantastic. As was the guy assisting us as well. Everything was spot on. We highly recommend.
